This foundation evolved into a distinguished 15-year career managing high-volume Italian restaurants in New York City and South Florida. Throughout his tenure, Jason specialized in curating wine lists that balanced beloved classics with emerging grapes, ensuring every selection was both authentic and ahead of market trends.
His deep-rooted expertise in Italian viticulture eventually paved the way for his venture into wine importing, where he applies the same commitment to quality and hospitality that defined his success in the NYC dining scene. Beyond his Italian heritage, Jason has developed a profound respect for the integrity and artistry of French winemaking. From the structured elegance of Bordeaux to the complexity of Burgundy, he values the meticulous craft and "terroir" that define French production. George is the co-founder of JJ Casano Imports and the primary architect of its wine portfolio. He built the company on a foundation of boots-on-the-ground exploration, traveling to small European estates to taste alongside families who have farmed the same soil for generations. By prioritizing purity, honesty, and character, George ensures that every selection reflects the "real wine" philosophy—working exclusively with independent growers rather than brokers or bulk suppliers to maintain the integrity of the bottle.
Known for his immersive, hands-on approach, George personally oversees every aspect of the business, from sourcing and logistics to restaurant partnerships and staff education.
